I read the article in yesterdays news paper and am pleased you are going to build such a wonderful rescue. I have rescued hundreds of parrots and after retraining them, placed them in new loving homes. I travel to many states with my rescued parrots doing educational programs that shows unwanted, abused, and neglected parrots doing tricks and things that make the bird happy. I would like to speak with you, if you do intend to accept parrots. I have educated myself in the Avian field and am a Certified Avian Specialist, and am studying behavior modification. I would like to try to help the owners to understand what they have done wrong to accidentally reinforce a undesirable behavior and help them correct it, or help place the bird in a new loving home, or give it love and meet it’s needs to live life in an enviorment I have been dreaming of for many years.. I also have studied nutritional needs of parrots and Enviormental Enrichment. If you decide to accept parrots, maybe I could be of assistance to you? I now live in Grovetown, Ga, near Augusta.
